Capacity planner in Jira Product Discovery

We found many leaders and managers struggle to allocate capacity and plan future quarters of work, especially when most projects are tracked in Jira. This usually results in planning outside in different products such as Excel, making it hard stay across updates.

We wanted a way for users to easily visualise and plan ahead with a fully integrated capacity planner to streamline planning.

LOOM QUICKS

After Atlassian’s recent acquisition of Loom, our team wanted to explore how we could improve and grow adoption of the successful screen-recording platform. While Loom is great for asynchronous collaboration, several Loom updates can consume your entire day, making it difficult to stay across all the work.

Loom quicks is a new format, similar to short-form video platforms (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) which only allows <90 second videos that are displayed in a popular/for you page enabling quick consumption.
